Casa Don Guanella is a splendid eighteenth-century villa built on the foundations of an ancient medieval castle of which only the tower remains to be seen.

A former seminary recently transformed into a holiday house, Casa Don Guanella is open all year round (hotel 3* standard services) and is ideally located, being close to  the Lombard shore of lake Maggiore and about 10 km away from the highway A26 Genova Voltri – Gravellona (exit Sesto Calende ) which connects in less than 30 minutes our Villa directly to the international airport of Milano Malpensa and in one hour the city centre of Milan and the new exhibition area of Rho / Pero.

The holiday house is within easy reach of Arona, Stresa, lake Orta , Varese and the Switzerland border.

Our free private parking area is large enough for coaches and cars.
